This shows the build up of layers for my first collage.
Here's the build up of layers for my second collage.
I used the same process shown above for created the main image in both of my collages. But instead of using the illusion pattern in the other one, I kept the sky instead and also made the ski chairs purple rather than green.
The green triangles round the edge of the image made the collage look to cluttered, so after getting feedback I decided to add a green glow instead. I changed the triangles to white and then lowered the opacity.
Using the paint tool on Photoshop I created some textures to add to my collage to give it more depth. I played around with the blending modes and opacity so that everything blended together well.
After looking at different optical illusions I wanted to incorporate something like this into my design. So I came up with my own design inspired by optical illusions and added this to the picture from my previous collage.

Here I experimented with different colours. I created the blue toned image first and then decided I wanted to try the design with warmer tones. After trying this out, I decided I preferred the cooler toned image.
Here is some development for my first final collage. I began by merging and blending some pictures together and then started playing around with shapes it could fit in. I then went with this idea and that's how I came up with my final design.
